OUR CRAFTSMANSHIP AND OUR KNOWLEDGE
Quality and craftsmanship are close to our hearts. We build our doors with respect for the raw material, which has taken decades to grow. The structure of the wood contains impressions from nature and each piece, each panel, frame and molding is unique. We may not think about it so often, but it is actually a great privilege to handle such a beautiful material every day. Someone who does, is door builder Leif Karlsson. In June 1969, Leif took his Push Florida to the carpentry factory for the first time. Since then he has retired but he still pulls in when there is a lot to do. In the film, we hear him and some of the other door builders talk about how the door craft is transmitted over generations, small-scale and the love of wood.
